Conveyancing Manager

The number of clients who give David repeated Conveyancing business is evidence alone of his prompt, efficient, friendly and professional service.

David joined Christopher Davidson in May 1999 and deals with a wide range of residential conveyancing, but with a particular specialisation representing overseas investment clients and dealing with new property purchasers.

David has 40 years’ conveyancing experience and since 1994 has developed very strong links with multi-national companies and overseas clients, particularly based in Hong Kong and other south-east Asian countries. He regularly visits Hong Kong to attend property exhibitions and to meet clients in person. His involvement with Asian clients is such that in order to accommodate time differences, he regularly starts his day at 6.30am!

Journey to Christopher Davidson: Educated at Pates Grammar School, Cheltenham. He started in law in 1969 working for several local solicitors including a 17-year spell with Cheltenham firm, BPE, before joining Christopher Davidson.

Hobbies: overseas travel, video games, table tennis, croquet – he plays croquet to international standard having represented England and Great Britain on many occasions. Having Russian grandparents, he also represented Russia in the 2005 world croquet championship!

Favourite film: Bird Man of Alcatraz and the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

Favourite TV programme: Strictly Come Dancing.

Favourite holiday destination: Sicily.

Perfect meal: a Thai buffet.

Personal ambition: although he has already visited more than 50 countries, he would like to see as many more as possible!
