Christopher Davidson was first formed in 1976 by CWS Davidson.
The “C” stands for Christopher, which gave the name of the firm, but he was known to all and sundry as Bill. Bill Davidson was a fine commercial lawyer who trained in the city. When he first started the practice in his own name, he set up his office in Cheltenham to be in the same town as the head office of his largest corporate client. Christopher Davidson are still in Cheltenham, only a few hundred yards from where Bill started, and that major corporate organisation remains a client today.
Bill specialised in company and commercial law, but soon expanded his team into other areas such as residential conveyancing and litigation. Christopher Davidson continue to deal with a similar mix of work, providing an exceptional service to clients ranging from large corporate bodies to private individuals.
